Crypto.com Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Emirates Islamic Bank

Cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Emirates Islamic Bank to continue to expand its presence in the UAE and wider Gulf markets. Crypto.com President of UAE Operations Mohammed Al Hakim said: "This collaboration bridges the space between cryptocurrencies and Islamic banking, paving the way for future collaboration in tokenized Islamic bonds and Sharia-compliant crypto solutions." This follows Crypto.com acquisition of regulated Orion Principals Limited and the launch of AED Wallet to provide local currency services to UAE users.
