On December 26th, by the end of 2023, there were 107,000 legal entities of financial enterprises across the country, with 12.355 million employees, down 21.9% and 32.0% respectively from the end of 2018. At the end of 2023, the total assets of legal entities of financial enterprises amounted to 505.90608 trillion yuan, an increase of 57.2% from the end of 2018; the total liabilities amounted to 433.85255 trillion yuan, an increase of 58.1% from the end of 2018. In 2023, the financial enterprise legal entities achieved an annual operating income of 1.7 2534.5 billion yuan, an increase of 25.8% from 2018.
