A reporter asked whether the mainland will consider giving priority to opening up mainland tourists to travel to Penghu? Chen Binhua, a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said that we have always clearly supported the promotion of the normalization of cross-strait personnel exchanges and the normalization of exchanges in various fields. The crux of the current cross-strait personnel exchange issue lies entirely with the DPP authorities. We will actively study the expansion of mainland residents' travel to Taiwan, not only in Penghu, but also on the island of Taiwan.
