According to a recent report by MV Global, DeSci is expected to achieve significant growth in 2025, driven by practical Meme coins.
But two projects, Rifampicin and Urolithin A, have garnered significant attention, achieving market caps of around $73 million and $59 million respectively, the report notes. Launched through Pump.Science platforms, these tokens are assessed by MV Global to have more utility than traditional Meme coins. MV Global expects Pump.Science to scale massively in 2025, with at least 10 projects expected to be worth more than $100 million by the end of the year.
MV Global also forecasts significant growth in health data management and collaborative open source research by 2025. Projects such as Hippocrat, which gives individuals control over their health data, and ResearchCoin, which aims to build a "scientific research GitHub", are seen as promising. Both projects are expected to reach market valuations of at least $200 million by 2025.
