On December 25th, the 13th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress voted to pass the decision on amending the Supervision Law, which will take effect from June 1, 2025. This amendment maintains the overall stability of the Supervision Law, and makes necessary amendments according to the deployment of the Party Central Committee and the requirements of the development of the situation, so as to maintain the continuity of the top-level design of the basic supervision system.
