Uniswap Labs and web3 security firm Blockaid have partnered to develop a new on-chain detection and response system to protect DEX users from malicious token attacks. Blockaid's tools alert users if they interact with a token flagged as potentially malicious.
The tool will be available in Uniswaps web, mobile, and self-hosted crypto wallet extensions. It combines static (comparing contract source code to known viruses) and dynamic (using a virtual environment to trigger contracts) verification heuristics as well as various machine learning features to help prove whether a token is legitimate.
