12月23日消息，据加密资产交易平台Gate.io以及日本金融厅今日公告，Gate Group宣布旗下新加坡法人Gate Information PTE. LTD.(CEO：Lin Han) 已成功收购日本加密资产交易服务提供商 Coin Master 株式会社的全部已发行股份。同时，Coin Master 株式会社自即日起更名为Gate Japan株式会社。
Gate.io于2024年7月22日发表声明，自当日起已停止为居住在日本国内的用户开设新账户，并逐步终止面向日本国内用户的全球服务。然而，通过此次收购 Coin Master 株式会社，Gate Group希望未来为日本国内用户提供符合当地法规的专属数字资产交易平台服务，进一步推动在日本市场的本地化业务拓展。
