Cyvers: 165 Web3 threats in 2024, more than $2.30 billion in losses

According to the Cyvers report, 165 Web3 cyber threats occurred in 2024, resulting in more than $2.30 billion in losses, a 40% increase from 2023. Of these, $1.30 billion of previously stolen funds were recovered. Access control-related incidents (67) accounted for 81% of the $2.30 billion losses. About 98 smart contract vulnerabilities resulted in losses totaling $456.30 million.
