On December 20, Japanese listed company Metaplanet announced that it will issue the fifth installment of interest-free ordinary bonds with a total amount of 5 billion yen. The proceeds raised will be used to accelerate the purchase of bitcoin, and the bond maturity date is June 16, 2025. The company plans to use the proceeds from the exercise of the 12th issue of warrants to ensure the repayment of the bond funds.
