Mo Shaikh, co-founder and CEO of Aptos Labs, said on social media platform X that he had resigned from the role to "start a new chapter" and that Avery Ching, co-founder and chief technology officer of the company, would take on the role of CEO to drive the company into the next phase of growth. Ching will enhance technological innovation and faster speed when launching new products to enrich the Aptos ecosystem.
Aptos Labs, a blockchain company that is developing Layer 1 blockchain Aptos, added former Grayscale Investments CEO Michael Sonnenshein and OpenAI Chief Product Officer Kevin Weil to its advisory board in November.
