The Cryptocurrency Open Patent Alliance (COPA) has charged Craig Wright with contempt of court, seeking a sentence of up to two years in prison. The COPA believes that Craig Wright's attempt to file a 900 million pound ($1.10 billion) lawsuit over intellectual property related to the bitcoin system in October amounted to contempt of court because in March, a judge had ruled that Wright was not Satoshi Nakamoto, barring him from continuing the lawsuit related to the self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto.
