Data: 10.6% of Ethereum validators support raising gas caps

According to gaslimit.pics data, 10.6% of Ethereum validators are already in favor of raising the gas cap, up from just over 1% before December. Previously, on March 20, Ethereum core developer Eric Connor and Mariano Conti, former head of smart contracts at Maker DAO, launched a website called Pump The Gas to convince the community to raise Ethereum's gas cap to 40 million. They believe such an adjustment could reduce Layer1 transaction fees by 15% to 33%.
