12月13日讯，以色列军方官员当地时间12日表示，随着伊朗在中东的代理团体实力减弱以及叙利亚阿萨德政权下台，以色列空军正在做好继续对伊朗核设施可能发动袭击的准备。以军认为，“孤立的伊朗可能会进一步推进其核计划”，目前以色列空军已经摧毁了叙利亚绝大多数防空系统，认为现在有机会对伊朗的核设施发动袭击。
