Push Protocol, a Web3 notification protocol, announced plans to launch the Layer 1 blockchain Push Chain, which features wallet and gas fee abstraction, sharding, and sub-second transaction finality. The initial testnet of Push Chain is scheduled for a phased release in mid-January 2025. The mainnet will be released later that year.
