According to a public filing, the SEC is seeking public comment on the NYSE-listed Bitwise Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs.
The Bitwise Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF is a proposed spot cryptocurrency index fund consisting of BTC and ETH that aims to "allow investors to balance investments in the world's two largest cryptoassets in an easily accessible format". On November 26, Bitwise and the New York Stock Exchange filed an application to list the ETF with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), and now the SEC is moving the application to the next stage by soliciting industry input.
