CryptoQuant founder and CEO Ki Young Ju posted on X that Bitcoin market leverage is easing. BTC-USDT futures unpositioned squaring contracts are down 7% from their peak, while exchange USDT balances have surged 32% in the past month.
Ki Young Ju pointed out that if these new USDT are used for futures trading margin, it will help to reduce the risk of chain liquidation in the market.
