Brazil-based asset manager Hashdex has appointed former BlackRock executive Mick McLaughlin as its head of U.S. distribution, with the aim of expanding the reach of its crypto-asset ETF products in the U.S. market and strengthening its sales team.
McLaughlin previously served as an executive at various institutions, including Bitwise, Deutsche Bank, and Barclays.
