Ava Labs founder: Satoshi Nakamoto's 1 million bitcoins may have quantum threat problems

Ava Labs founder Emin Gün Sirer tweeted that Satoshi Nakamoto's 1 million bitcoins may have quantum threat issues. Early bitcoins used the very old Pay-To-Public-Key format, which leaked public keys and gave attackers time to delve into it, which is the source of all crypto bounties. Modern Bitcoin wallets or modern systems like Avalanche do not use P2PK, but it did exist in the early days of Bitcoin. Therefore, as the quantum threat intensifies, the Bitcoin community may need to consider freezing Satoshi's 1 million bitcoins, or more generally, providing a final date and freezing all bitcoins on P2PK UTXOs.
