据天使投资顾问、The Daily Gwei创始人@sassal0x在X平台披露，下一次以太坊网络升级代号为“Pectra”或“Petra”，是执行层部分的名称“Prague”和升级共识层部分的名称“Electra”合并而来。Pectra预计于2024年第四季度或2025年第一季度上线，预计将包括EIP-7251（maxEB）、EIP-3074（帐户抽象）和其他一些EIP，以太坊L1路线图正在执行，而每个L2都有自己的路线图，以将以太坊扩展到世界各地。
