据Polygon Labs首席执行官Marc Boiron透露，一张1999年发行的完好无损的初版全息喷火龙宝可梦卡将通过以太坊扩展网络Polygon进行代币化，并由收藏品平台Courtyard进行拍卖，据悉该卡会被安全存放在Brink的保险库中，目前估计价值高达25万美元。Marc Boiron补充称，这次拍卖不仅仅是关于喷火龙卡，还展示了区块链如何彻底改变收藏品世界。另据Polygon Labs一位公司代币透露，他们是从一名知名卖家手中购得了这张卡，根据2020年以来的市场数据显示，类似的初版喷火龙宝可梦卡售价大约在26.4万至40万美元区间。
