According to Spot On Chain, a giant whale has just deposited the remaining 60,079 ETH ($234 million) into Bitfinex after holding for nearly 6 years. The whale withdrew 87,085 ETH from Bitfinex in January 2019 for just $153 ($13.40 million). It then sent 600 ETH to Tornado Cash in 2020 and re-deposited 86,484 ETH at an average price of $3,331 in November 2023 and December 2024. If these were trades, the whale would have made an estimated profit of $274.80 million (20.7 times return).
