According to Decrypt, Canadian mining company Hive Digital has announced the purchase of 13,480 Bitmain Antminer S21 + Hydros mining machines for over $60 million to expand its operations in Paraguay, which can provide 4.3 EH/s of computing power.
Hive Digital also has the option to purchase 4.3 EH/s of the same product, which can be exercised within one year to expand the hashrate of the mining machine to 8.6 EH/s, and plans to reach 15 EH/s by summer 2025.
