12 月 2 日，日本加密货币交易所 DMM Bitcoin 表示，6 月份通过多种融资计划筹集了约 550 亿日元（3.651 亿美元）。具体而言，6 月 3 日，该公司通过借款筹集了 50 亿日元（3320 万美元）；6 月 7 日，该公司通过增资筹集了 480 亿日元（3.186 亿美元）。最后一笔资金于 6 月 10 日到账，当时 DMM Bitcoin 通过次级借款获得了额外的 20 亿日元（1330 万美元）。
官方声明称，DMM Bitcoin 计划在向 SBI VC Trade 完成资产转移后停止运营。
SBI VC Trade 周一宣布，计划在完成托管资产转移之前，开始处理目前在 DMM Bitcoin 上交易的 14 种加密货币的现货交易。
今晨消息，DMM Bitcoin 表示将停止运营。由于今年 5 月底发生了价值 482 亿日元的比特币被盗事件，导致其服务受限，该公司放弃了重组运营的尝试。DMM Bitcoin 所托管的客户资产预计将在 2025 年 3 月左右转移至 SBI 集团旗下加密货币交易所 SBIVC Trade。
此前 5 月，DMM Bitcoin 遭黑客攻击被盗 4502.9 BTC，损失达 3.05 亿美元。
