Fund I, a fund of Recursive Capital, announced that it has completed a new round of fundraising, focusing on supporting bitcoin startups and ecosystem development in the African market, focusing on areas such as cryptocurrency infrastructure, mining and leading technology. Its current portfolio includes bitcoin financial service Bitnob, bitcoin collaborative custody platform Fedi and lightning network payment company Synota.
It is reported that the new fund has not yet disclosed the amount of capital raised, but its investors include Block Chairperson Jack Dorsey, former Goldman Sachs partner Peter L. Briger Jr., chairperson of Fortress Investment Group, and Jeff Booth, founding partner of Ego Death Capital.
