Early testers of Sora, OpenAI's unreleased text-to-video tool, leaked access to the new model in protest. Artists and beta testers claimed that OpenAI had exploited their vulnerabilities in its latest text-to-video model, Sora. The leak was carried out collectively by a group of artists and beta testers under the username "PR-Puppets".
The team released what appeared to be a front-end version of Sora to AI development platform HuggingFace on November 26, allowing anyone to create using the tool - however, OpenAI has since reportedly stepped in and shut it down.
