Bank of America forecasts that the S & P 500 index will rise to 6,666 in 2025

Bank of America expects the S & P 500 to post another double-digit gain in 2025, but says there are better opportunities for individual stocks outside the benchmark. In a note to clients on Tuesday, Savita Subramanian, the bank's head of U.S. equities and quantitative strategy, set its target for the end of 2025 at 6,666, about 11 percent higher than Monday's closing level of 5,997.
