French users are banned from accessing the Polymarket prediction market

Polymarket has blocked French users and warned against trying to get around the blockade. According to a post from social media, Polymarket has now added French users to its list of restricted users. A few weeks after the country's gaming regulator allegedly said it would ban Prediction Market, news has emerged that French users are now unable to access Polymarket. However, some French Polymarket users on social media platform X said they are still accessing Prediction Market through a virtual private network (VPN) app.
