In an onstage interview at the Cantor Crytpo conference, retired NBA star Pippen Scotty Pippen revealed that he personally met Satoshi Nakamoto in 1993.
Mr. Pippen, who posted on the X platform in September that he had met Mr. Nakamoto again in a "dream", revealed that Mr. Nakamoto said bitcoin would reach "$84,650" on November 5, 2024.
"Satoshi Nakamoto didn't explain it to me back then [in 1993]," Mr. Pippen said on Making Money. "If he had explained it back then, I would be way ahead now. Like most people, I started late. I only started to really understand Bitcoin last year, when it was around $33,000. So I started to really study the whole cryptocurrency world and try to learn a little bit more about it." (Forbes)
