Metafide CEO: Bitcoin will reach $500,000 by the end of 2027

The price of bitcoin has recently approached $100,000 as President-elect Donald Trump's pro-crypto rhetoric has boosted crypto-related markets. "The only place [bitcoin] can go is up from here," said the Metafide chief executive. "We can definitely hit $100,000 this year. Next year we could surpass $250,000, and by the end of 2027, 500,000 dollars could be completely achievable." He said that if Trump introduced a crypto institution in his second term, it would help legitimize bitcoin as an asset and add "more stability". He added: "As more people enter, the market will level off and over time it will look more and more like a mature market."
