Pertsev, the developer of the cryptocurrency hybrid protocol Tornado Cash, who will remain in detention pending trial, announced in an X post on November 21: "I regret to announce that despite our best efforts, the court has decided to extend my pretrial detention. This decision has greatly affected my ability to prepare an appeal, but I remain determined to continue fighting for justice."
