Total assets in US ETFs investing directly in bitcoin surpassed $100 billion after bitcoin hit an all-time high of $97,000, pointing to the $100,000 mark. Twelve bitcoin ETFs, including BlackRock and Fidelity Investments, reached the milestone within 10 months of their debut in January, making them one of the most successful fund categories ever launched. Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net inflow of $773 million on Wednesday as bitcoin hit record highs, institutional data showed.
