Apple has confirmed a zero-day attack on macOS and is urgently releasing major macOS and iOS security updates to fix two already widely exploited vulnerabilities. In its announcement, Apple confirmed that these vulnerabilities are being widely exploited on Intel-based macOS systems and urged users across the ecosystem to urgently apply iOS 18.1.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1.1 and older iOS 17.7.2.
