On November 20th, according to Decrypt, Yield Guild Games (YGG) announced the launch of the Onchain Guilds platform on Coinbase's Ethereum Layer-2 network Base, with the aim of further expanding the blockchain ecosystem in the Philippines. The platform allows collective recording and management of their work and achievements through the blockchain, similar to the "blockchain version of LinkedIn".
YGG CEO Gabby Dizon said Onchain Guilds provides tools for game teams, artists, and content creators to track contributions, manage assets, and connect with YGG's partner network. Dizon stressed that Onchain Guilds is not only suitable for games, but also for freelancers and AI data annotations, to promote the gradual onchain of online transactions.
