On November 20th, the well-known crypto security platform Blowfish announced that it has been acquired by self-hosted wallet Phantom. The move aims to integrate Blowfish's advanced security technology to further enhance the security features of Phantom wallet. The Blowfish team will join Phantom to jointly develop stronger security features including transaction simulation previews and real-time fraud alerts. As the integration progresses, Blowfish's existing services will be gradually shut down, while Phantom users will enjoy the support of higher security standards.
Since its inception, Blowfish has provided services to more than 40 wallet partners such as Phantom, Kraken, MetaMask, Brave, etc., cumulatively protecting over $18 billion of user assets and successfully preventing 2.80 million fraud incidents.
