On November 20th, according to Fox Business, Dow Jones Market Data Group data showed that as of Thursday morning, the largest bitcoin spot ETF BlackRock IBIT assets reached $42 billion, an increase of 38% in the past seven days. This move pushed the price of the ETF (ticker symbol IBIT) to an all-time high and is now considered the fastest growing ETF ever.
A BlackRock spokesperson said: "Since its launch, the inflow of funds into IBIT has highlighted the propensity of investors to invest in bitcoin through the convenience and quality of ETFs. The market has reignited optimism in anticipation of aggressive regulatory action on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. We remain focused on educating investors and providing easy and transparent access to bitcoin investments."
According to the firm, IBIT has attracted more than $3 billion in assets since the election. A future Donald Trump White House is expected to bring a more crypto-friendly government.
