Nov 19 - Iran has agreed to stop producing enriched uranium close to the level needed to make a nuclear weapon, according to UN inspectors. Observers from the International Atomic Energy Agency said Tuesday that Iran has begun implementing measures "aimed at stemming the build-up of its stockpile." Iranian engineers have taken the necessary initial steps to limit production, the report said. This follows Iran's start of enriching uranium at concentrations as high as 60 percent in 2021. The material can be rapidly upgraded to levels of 90 percent normally used in nuclear weapons.
