On November 19, according to the Financial Times, Trump's social media company is in advanced talks to acquire Bakkt, a cryptocurrency trading platform owned by Intercontinental Exchange, as the company strives to expand beyond online conversations. Trump Media and Technology Group is close to acquiring Bakkt in an all-share deal, according to two people familiar with the talks. The valuation under discussion is unclear, but Bakkt was valued at just over $150 million on Monday.
