The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) said it confirmed that the IBIT option will be listed and traded on November 19.
Companies have been looking to list and trade options on their spot bitcoin ETFs after the Securities Exchange Commission approved 11 spot BTC ETFs in January. The Securities Exchange Commission approved BlackRock's proposal to list and trade options on its iShares Bitcoin Trust (ticker IBIT) on September 20.
