Coinbase首席执行官Brian Armstrong在X平台分享图片，其中展示数据显示，支付巨头Visa字2013年至2023年期间的的年度几乎没有太大幅度的增长，相反稳定币年度交易量自2016年中旬开始不断上涨，至2023年时已与Visa接近。此外，比特币年度交易量自2013年开始也保持了增长态势，但在2021年左右出现下降，2023年时与PayPal相当。
