Iranian President: Iran has not and will not develop nuclear weapons

On November 15th, according to the Russian Satellite News Agency, Iranian President Pezeshkian said during a meeting with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Grossi that Iran has not and will not develop nuclear weapons. In 2015, Iran reached a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue with the six countries on the Iranian nuclear issue (the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany). According to the agreement, Iran promised to limit its nuclear program and the international community will lift sanctions against Iran. In May 2018, the United States announced its withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear agreement and gradually restored sanctions against Iran. Iran announced that it would reduce its implementation of the agreement in stages.
