According to the CME "Fed Watch", the probability that the Fed will maintain current interest rates unchanged in December is 24.3%, and the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 75.7% (37.9% and 62.1% before the CPI announcement, respectively). The probability of maintaining current interest rates unchanged in January next year is 16.5%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 59.2%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut is 24.3%. (Before the CPI announcement, they were 26.5%, 54.9%, and 18.6%, respectively).
