On November 13, Varun Srinivasan announced Farcaster's priorities for 2025: a new standard for building applications within the Farcaster framework will be launched in December 2024; Snapchain will be launched in Quarter 1 in 2025.
Snapchain is a new network design that eliminates bugs and increases throughput by a factor of 10 or around 5,000 TPS; will offer smart wallet support for Farcaster accounts; provide better standards for developers; and Warpcast will run another retroactive rewards program in the fourth quarter.
Farcaster will launch its Snapchain network in the first quarter of next year
