瑞银表示已成功试点了一种基于区块链的支付系统，该系统被称为瑞银数字现金(UBS Digital Cash)，旨在提高跨境交易的效率。瑞银在一份声明中表示，在试点中进行了与跨国客户和银行的交易，包括在瑞士的国内交易以及以美元、瑞士法郎、欧元和人民币进行的跨境支付。瑞银计划进一步扩大和开发瑞银数字现金，据悉该系统使用私人区块链网络，只有获得许可的客户才能访问。
