According to the Wall Street Journal, a Frenchman trader identified as Théo used four anonymous accounts to bet more than $30 million on Trump's election on Polymarket, making a profit of nearly $50 million after Trump's re-election as US president on November 6. Théo believes that polls in the United States are not accurate enough, and that pollsters should use so-called neighborhood polls, which ask respondents which candidate they expect their neighbors to support, and respondents will indirectly reveal their preferences.
