据美国有线电视新闻网（CNN）报道，当地时间11月5日，美国宾夕法尼亚州州务卿阿尔·施密特表示，由于“软件故障”，当天早些时候，坎布里亚县正在对无法在选区扫描的选票进行人工计票，过程可能“需要一些时间”。据悉，人工计票通常由“两个党派团队合作完成”。施密特表示，整个过程将对候选人和授权代表开放观察。
