About 40 percent of Georgia voters say the economy is their top concern, according to preliminary results of an exit poll of Georgia voters conducted by CNN. Less than three in 10 voters say the state of democracy is their top concern, with about 14 percent citing abortion, about 10 percent citing immigration, and less than 5 percent citing foreign policy. That stands in stark contrast to the nation-wide view that democracy is the most important issue. Voters in Georgia are sharply divided on whether federal hurricane aid is going to those in need, with just under half saying they support that view and half saying they don't. Nearly 60 percent of the state says they don't support President Biden. Voters in Georgia are also deeply divided on whether they trust Harris or Trump to handle the crisis.
