韩国个人信息保护委员会在周二的一份声明中称，Meta Platforms(META.O)在没有法律依据的情况下收集用户敏感数据并将其提供给广告商，已责令其支付216.2亿韩元（约合1567万美元）的罚款。Meta搜集了大约98万名韩国Facebook用户有关宗教、政治观点和性取向等问题的信息，但没有征得用户的同意。这些信息随后被约4000家广告商使用。该委员会说：“我们发现Meta分析了用户的行为数据，如他们在Facebook上喜欢的网页和点击的广告，并创建和管理了与敏感信息相关的广告主题。”
