On November 5th, according to Bloomberg, prediction platform Polymarket has been paying US social media KOLs to promote the platform's election betting business. However, the platform is actually banned from providing betting services to US users, including presidential election betting. In September, Armand Saramout, senior growth director at Polymarket, sought sponsorship deals with US influencers. In recent weeks, multiple Instagram accounts with large followings have posted Polymarket sponsored content with PMPartner and PolymarketPartner tags.
