On November 4th, Farcaster co-founder Dan Romero wrote on X: "Although less likely, large consumer fintech applications (e.g. PayPal, Coinbase, Cash App, etc.) may offer interesting products/channels for pollsters in future elections:
1. Scale: a large and diverse group of retail investors.
2. KYC: residence address and citizenship;
3. Mobile app: Ability to send push notifications and respond to quick polls within the app (compared to outdated phone calls or email spams/text messages);
4. New crowds: If they remain anonymous/aggregated (and users believe this), it is possible to involve crowds that would not normally respond to polls.
