Speaking on the social media platform X, Mr. Musk said: A major factor in keeping Ukraine out of Russian occupation was my support for Starlink, which was a "backstop" for Ukrainian frontline military communications because everything else was blown up or disrupted by Russia, at great risk to the Russian military for cyber and physical attacks on SpaceX.
